The Recovery College in City and Hackney has been designed to develop courses that empower people to become experts in their own well-being
We are open for all and anyone can enrol, we are proud to support and work with those diagnosed with a mental illness, their families, carers and staff

Join our twice weekly virtual discussion forum where we discuss thought provoking and important topics.

This is a safe, open and non judgmental place to share your views and opinions

Voice box will be continuing on a Thursday 2pm- 3.30 and now also at a new time Tuesday 6pm- 8pm

How to Enrol

To Enrol on our courses simply complete our enrolment form; this can be downloaded by following the link below or alternatively you can pick up a form in person, call us to request a form to be posted or email us

Once you have submitted your enrolment form we will be in touch via email or post to confirm successful enrolment and the courses on which you are enroled

becoming a tutor

If you are interested in becoming a peer tutor at the Recovery college we require you to follow the steps below:

1- Tell us why you would like to be a tutor; this can be via email/ letter

2- Once we have received your application we will review and if successful, invite you to attend our co-production course

3- Once you have successfully competed this course you will need to apply online (we can help with this) you will then be invited for interview, if successful you will then be a peer tutor


Individual learning plan

An ILP is a 30 minute 1:1 session with the manager of the College where you will be able to discuss and develop a plan for the future in terms of your education and what you would like to do now and over the upcoming months. The plan will be reviewed after you have attended sessions to see what you would like to do next.
